Lettings in the City of Oxford
Back in the 12th Century, King Henry I chose to build his new Palace in Jericho at the site of Worcester College and a stone’s throw away from NOPS Headquarters (at 47 Walton Street). Richard the Lion Heart and his younger brother King John (Associated with Magna Carta) also understood the benefits of living in Oxford since they too, were born here.
History has shown that Oxford has always been a trend setting place with the likes of William Morris, Dante Gabrielle Rossetti and his cohort, the pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, spending a good deal of time in Oxford whilst, it is said, frequenting the numerous local Pubs (refer to the NOPS Pub Map).
These days, Oxford is a fun, vibrant and multi-cultural place to live. It offers all the convenience of City living with access to theatres, museums, stately homes as well as the great Oxford Colleges as a backdrop to modern contemporary living. Easy access to London, Heathrow and the M40/M4 motorways makes Oxford the ideal base for those commuting into London. London Paddington and Marylebone are about one hour by train. Oxford has its own Airport with flights connecting to Edinburgh and other services.
The area surrounding Oxford also hosts many hi-tech scientific businesses and is renowned as the heart of the Formula 1 Motor Racing Industry, with Racing Teams such as Mercedes, Williams, McLaren and Red Bull together with component manufacturers upon which they rely, being based in Oxfordshire. Silverstone F1 Racing Circuit is a short drive from Oxford.
Just like the Royal Family our roots are also deep-seated in Jericho but the way we go about our business in letting properties in a fast and efficient way and is more akin to a pit stop at the British Grand Prix.
